Engineer Email Signature
Engineering correspondence becomes part of the project record. A signature that names your discipline, licence, and project reference saves everyone a search later.
What every Engineer signature needs
- Name + licence (PE, CEng, P.Eng) and states/regions
- Discipline (structural, civil, mechanical, electrical)
- Firm name and logo
- Project number or reference line where relevant
- Office line and direct extension
What to avoid
- Marketing banners on stamped correspondence
- Personal social links
- Fonts that break drawings-office formatting
Recommended style
Minimal or Corporate — single column with a monospace reference line.
